Heron's Rest B&B - Directions


How Heron's Rest got it's name. Here's the actual photo of the heron sitting on our roof.

Driving Directions: From Victoria head North on the Trans Canada Highway. Follow the signs and take the exit to Highway Fourteen (Sooke/Port Renfrew) [called Sooke Road]. Once in the centre of Sooke continue west straight through towards Port Renfrew. The road is now called West Coast Road. It is approximately 10 km (10 minutes) to Otter Point Road. Watch for the B&B highway sign with Heron's Rest. Turn right up the hill and left at Otter Point Place (the first left road - there is another sign). Follow along to the third right (the first is Ranveig Place, the second is Clark Road) Randy's Place. We are the 3rd house on the left. Look for the giant heron sign. The street address is 8821 Randy's Place, Sooke, V9Z 0K6.

Heron's Rest B&B is located approximately 55 km from Victoria and approximately 13 km west of the town of Sooke. We are located on the southern tip of Vancouver Island along the Strait of Juan De Fuca. Refer to map for details.

If you are using a GPS, be sure you enter the correct address! Some GPS' direct you to take Humpback Road from the Trans Canada Highway. Please follow the directions above. Humpback Road is extremely narrow with extreme blindspots going over hills!
